This guideline provides guidance on the optimal surgical, radiation, and systemic therapy for patients with breast cancer with germline mutations in breast cancer susceptibility genes. A systematic evidence review was conducted on 10 clinical questions. The complete list of recommendations are discussed in the full guideline.
ASTRO's radiation therapy summary is based on the joint guideline and was written by the radiation oncologist authors of the panel who extracted pertinent surgical and radiation specific recommendations.
