Use ASTRO's contouring resources to optimize your treatment planning. Contour delineation is a process in treatment planning to outline tumor (or areas at risk of microscopic disease) as well as nearby organs at risk to guide radiation therapy plans that optimize tumor control and reduce radiation toxicity. Contouring is a critical element in plan quality and patient outcomes.

Choose from live webinars, webinars onDemand and case libraries. All are discounted for ASTRO members and offer continuing medical education credit, and activities marked with * are free to members-in-training with support from the ROI Juan A. del Regato Fund.

Webinars onDemand

Registration Includes: onDemand (Recorded) Presentation

These activities provide access to a recorded presentation which includes a didactic background lecture and case/contour review. Registrants do not have access to the practice cases/online contouring platform for the cases covered in the presentation.

Case Libraries

Registration Includes: onDemand (Recorded) Presentation + Practice Cases to Contour with Accuracy Score

Along with a recorded presentation, participants can contour practice cases prepared by the faculty using an online contouring platform and receive a metric score based on the accuracy of their contour(s) compared to the faculty.

In the recording, faculty present a didactic background lecture followed by case/contour review. Participants can access the presentation recording along with the practice cases until the activity expiration date to continue to practice contours and improve their score.
