* Notes for program directors
- The Oral I-131 and Parenteral Administration Log will no longer be submitted to the ABR.
- Residents and programs should continue to meet RRC and NRC requirements. The graduate may request that the program complete and attest to their training and experience in their NRC Preceptor Statement. The documentation requirements are very similar to what is currently provided to the ABR.
- Meticulous records of training must be documented and kept indefinitely along with the completed NRC forms to help your students.
- Start the required forms and necessary tracking for your students as they complete the work rather than waiting until their graduation.
- If your center chooses to add trainees as AUs to your facility's license, it will depend on what type of license your facility has, and the structure of your training program. You should discuss this with your radiation safety officer and radiation safety committee.
