ASTRO’s ROCR Act advocacy received another big boost, as we sent two important endorsement letters (Cancer Leadership Council and ROCR Act Support) up to Capitol Hill yesterday. ASTRO is very grateful to the more than 60 organizations—including freestanding centers, community hospitals, private practice groups, academic centers and professional organizations—that signed the support letter to Congressional leadership, as well as 10 of our great partners in the cancer patient advocacy community that signed the Cancer Leadership Council statement. Please raise your voice in support of the ROCR Act by contacting your Members of Congress to cosponsor the bill via our easy-to-use grassroots system—we're still only half way to our goal of 1,000 messages by July 31.
