ASTRO 2024: Late-breaking abstracts are now being accepted through July 12
The ASTRO 2024 Late-breaking Abstract (LBA) submission site is now open. ASTRO recognizes that the results of some highly significant and timely studies may not have been available at the time of the earlier abstract submission deadline. Late-breaking abstract submissions allow authors a chance to submit their newly available research, ensuring that the ASTRO program includes the most timely, novel and cutting-edge studies available. Want some tips on writing your research abstract? Download the free presentation, How to Write a Research Abstract for a Meeting, from the ASTRO Academy. Submissions will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. Pacific time, Friday, July 12.

Host a member of Congress at your clinic
ASTRO is encouraging our U.S. members to help build momentum for ASTRO’s legislative priorities by inviting your representative and senators on a tour of your practice during Congress’ annual August recess. A site tour is one of the most effective ways to generate congressional support, as it gives members of Congress a firsthand look at how their decisions affect the way in which health care is delivered to constituents. Learn more about what it takes to host a tour from radiation oncologists Ben Wilkinson, MD, and Lauran Tait, MD, who hosted U.S. Congressman Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), a cosponsor of the ROCR Act, for a tour earlier this year.
