The program aims to encourage early career professionals to learn more about the peer review process by offering a mentored experience. Apprentices will have the opportunity to review articles for the journal and get feedback from editors on how to improve as reviewers. Early career professionals in radiation oncology, medical physics or radiation biology are encouraged to apply. Learn more about the program — applications are now open for the January 2024 start date. |

RO-ILS seeks nominations for physicist and therapist safety stars |
The deadline to nominate medical physicists and radiation therapists who go above and beyond for patient safety is Monday, October 9. An underpinning goal of RO-ILS is to support and encourage a strong culture of safety — this includes celebrating team members at participating facilities. RO-ILS corporate supporters are also safety stars as their generous contributions help offset the cost so facilities are not charged any fees. Check out these RO-ILS supporters in the Annual Meeting Exhibit Hall. |
