ACS CAN - ASTRO Collaboration

ASTRO and the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) joined forces to discuss how the two organizations work together to make cancer a top priority for public officials and candidates at the federal, state and local levels of government. The webinar was specifically tailored to residents and moderated by Neha Vapiwala, MD, FASTRO, ASTRO President-elect. Mustafa Basree, DO, MS, ASTRO’s Government Relations Fellow, and senior member of ARRO's Executive Committee, and Jeff Martin of ACS CAN, presented on each organization’s advocacy efforts and how residents can get more involved in advocating for the specialty.
