Biographical Statement

I grew up near Columbia, South Carolina, and attended college at the University of South Carolina. Following this, I earned my MD at GWU. After my first year of medical school, I was awarded an ASTRO Minority Summer Fellowship where I completed research on proton therapy at the Johns Hopkins University Sibley Memorial Hospital. This experience was pivotal in my decision to pursue radiation oncology. My research interests include women’s health, sexual toxicity of radiation, and access to care. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, going to concerts, reality tv shows and trying new restaurants!
