ROI Committees now accepting volunteers

The Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI)—the ASTRO Foundation—is seeking active and engaged volunteers for its Development Committee and Research Committee in 2025. Founded in 2006 by ASTRO, ROI is a separate 501c3 charity with its own Board of Trustees and committees.

ROI committee appointments are for one year beginning January 1, 2025. You can volunteer for both ROI committees in order of preference, but appointments are expected to be limited to one per ASTRO member to offer as many volunteer opportunities as possible. Be sure to provide your qualifications and a compelling statement about why you want to serve on an ROI committee when you complete your “Areas of Expertise” in the application below.

A brief committee description will appear when you select a committee to volunteer for, but please review the complete roles and responsibilities on the ROI website prior to applying. Volunteering for ROI will be a part of your ASTRO service record.

NOTE: If you have already volunteered for two ASTRO committees, you must remove one or both to volunteer for the ROI committees. This WILL NOT impact your ASTRO committee assignments as that process is now complete.

The ROI volunteer process will remain open until October 20, 2024, and volunteers who are selected to serve will be notified in November. To assist ROI leadership in making appropriate committee appointments, please complete or update your Statement of Disclosure.
