Fellow Application Instructions

Nominees for ASTRO Fellowship must demonstrate significant service or leadership in ASTRO. Examples of service may include election or appointment to a leadership role, service on an ASTRO committee or task force, involvement as a surveyor, a reviewer for one of ASTRO's journals, or in the organization of an Educational Program. Presentation at the annual meeting, or moderation of a session at ASTRO should be included in the “research” or “education” section of the nominee’s application, not as “service.” Extensive volunteerism and patient advocacy as related to ASTRO will also be considered. Service to other organizations will be considered in context of the total application, but are not a substitution for service to ASTRO.
