We are excited to announce that Mustafa Basree, DO, MS, a resident at the University of Wisconsin was selected as ASTRO’s 2025 Government Relations Resident Fellow. Dr. Basree will shadow ASTRO’s Advocacy staff, participating in all advocacy meetings and functions, including meetings with members of Congress or their staff. Dr. Basree, who was among eight applicants, is a member of ASTRO’s Education Committee, the ARRO Executive Committee and the ARRO Education Subcommittee. Dr. Basree has participated in ASTRO’s Advocacy Day for the last two years and will attend again in 2025. Applications for 2026 will open in the summer of 2025.
