Biographical Statement
I was raised in Morristown, New Jersey, and pursued my undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University, focusing on tissue optics and radiation physics. Following my graduation from Duke, I worked as a research technician at NYU Langone Medical Center in a bone biology and regenerative medicine laboratory before matriculating at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During my time there, I was awarded the Chancellor’s Global Health Scholarship for my proposal to evaluate cervical cancer screening and treatment capacity in Belize, as well as the New Jersey Advancement for Clinical and Translational Science TL1/UL1 training award to pursue a Master’s degree in epidemiology and study drug-radiation interactions. After medical school, I completed an internship in the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital before joining the Harvard Radiation Oncology Program. I am honored to serve on the ARRO executive committee and co-lead the Education Subcommittee. My passion for resident education stems from a desire to advance patient care by improving how we disseminate knowledge and evaluate residents' progress throughout residency. Outside of radiation oncology, I enjoy woodworking, fly fishing and spicy food.
