RO-ILS celebrates radonc Safety Stars and thanks 2023 supporters
The 2023 Safety Honor Roll recognizes the individuals, organizations and corporations who made significant contributions to patient safety in 2023. Three radiation oncologists were selected for national recognition and join other members of the radiation oncology teams as safety stars. The specialty societies (ASTRO, AAPM, ASRT, AAMD) and vendors (Varian, Sun Nuclear Corporation, Radformation, and others) that helped develop and offset the cost of the RO-ILS program are also important contributors. Thanks to generous donations by sponsors and supporters, any U.S.-based practice, whether a small or rural community practice or an academic center, can enroll and participate in RO-ILS for free!
