Biographical Statement
I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and completed my undergraduate education at University of Wisconsin-Madison. Thus, by nature, I am a cheese lover and big fan of Wisconsin sports. I then moved to Durham, North Carolina, where I completed my medical degree at Duke University. During this time, I became interested in health care disparities research, and completed a dual MPH degree at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. My research during medical school focused on care disparities in cancer patients, and I realized that I wanted to focus my career on the cancer community. I am currently a resident at MD Anderson Cancer Center. It is an honor to be a member of the ARRO executive committee, and I am looking forward to creating new education resources, fostering connections between members, and advocating to improve training for radiation oncology residents.
