ASTRO PAC

Off West Salon, Street Level

ASTRO’s political action committee (PAC) pod allows members to get information on ASTRO’s advocacy and political giving, contribute on site and charge their electronic devices. ASTRO PAC provides ASTRO with the opportunity to more fully participate in the political process and ensure our members’ voices are being heard by key policymakers on Capitol Hill. Private interview rooms are available for rent. These rooms are ideal if you have multiple interviews to conduct or prefer to interview applicants in a private setting. A limited number of private interview rooms are available for three-hour periods. For more information, email Todd Karstaedt. On site, stop by the ASTRO Resource Center located in East Salon A/B to check availability.


ASTRO Resource Center

East Salon A/B, Street Level

ASTRO representatives will be available to answer questions about the Annual Meeting, ASTRO membership, continuing education, MOC requirements, session and meeting evaluations and provide information on any of ASTRO’s products and services. They can also offer assistance with the Annual Meeting Portal.

The FedEx Office Print and Ship Center offers you everything you need to meet your convention exhibiting needs — from packing and shipping to signs, banners, office supplies, copying and printing services. Nursing Lounge

East Salon F, Street Level

There will be a dedicated ASTRO Nursing Lounge available at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for those needing to pump, nurse or have quiet time with their baby. The room will have a privacy lock on the door, comfortable seating, power outlets and other amenities. Access to the Mother’s Lounge will be available Saturday through Wednesday on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have questions during the meeting, please stop by the ASTRO Resource Center located in East Salon A/B, Street Level of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.


ROI Booth

Visit the Radiation Oncology Institute (ROI) booth off of Hall D Lobby, to hear about the ROI and its research programs, to view the names of the generous donors to the ROI and to learn about the impact of giving to the ROI. Opportunities to meet ROI researchers, members of the ROI Board of Trustees and others who support the ROI will be available at the booth. Stop by to learn how you can support research that improves outcomes for patients and enhances the radiation oncology field.

Faculty members and abstract presenters should upload their PowerPoint presentations in advance of their sessions through the online Speaker Center by Monday, September 23 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. To ensure presentations have been properly uploaded, faculty members and abstract presenters MUST check in at the Speaker Ready Room upon arrival to Walter E. Washington Convention Center to review their presentation and make any last-minute edits. Presentations received less than 24 hours prior to presentation are at the risk of having AV difficulties that are outside of our control.
