Quality Improvement Announcements
- NEW In honor of Patient Safety Awareness Week, RO-ILS will host a one-hour interactive forum about patient safety on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. During this virtual conversation hour, attendees will discuss curated RO-ILS events in small groups and then debrief with safety experts. Registration is open to all clinical staff, but space is limited so register today.
- RO-ILS Specialized Technique Themed Report is a detailed exploration of RO-ILS events related to brachytherapy, TBI, adaptive radiation therapy, IORT, extended SSD and more. It includes aggregate analysis, eight case examples and mitigation strategies.
- An artificial intelligence and/or machine learning ROhub community provides a platform for collaborative learning and professional networking. Share your experiences, inquire about pertinent topics and contribute to cultivating a dynamic network of professionals interested in this topic.

Practice Quality Improvement is an integral part of the American Board of Radiology’s Maintenance of Certification program – APEx and RO-ILS templates help meet this educational requirement.
RO-ILS
RO-ILS is a free safety program that offers enrolled practices a ready-made portal to collect and analyze errors in a legally protected environment. Education based on the aggregate database facilitates quality improvement.
