Quality Improvement Announcements
- NEW Specialized Technique Themed Report is a detailed exploration of RO-ILS events related to brachytherapy, TBI, adaptive radiation therapy, IORT, extended SSD and more. It includes aggregate analysis, eight case examples and mitigation strategies.
- In recognition of the International Day of Medical Physics and National Radiologic Technology Week, RO-ILS released two new educational documents to celebrate a great catch by a medical physicist and a radiation therapist. Additionally, three physicists and three therapists were selected for national recognition based on their contributions to patient safety.
- A newly established artificial intelligence and/or machine learning ROhub community provides a platform for collaborative learning and professional networking. Share your experiences, inquire about pertinent topics and contribute to cultivating a dynamic network of professionals interested in this topic.

RO-ILS is a free safety program that offers enrolled practices a ready-made portal to collect and analyze errors in a legally protected environment. Education based on the aggregate database facilitates quality improvement.
