Continuing Education Credits

The 2025 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course gives you the opportunity to earn continuing education credits. To earn credits for the live virtual course, complete the evaluation and attestation in the ASTRO Academy.

Evaluation

To be eligible to receive continuing education credits for the live virtual course, attendees must complete the online evaluation and attestation by Monday, May 12, 2025. To complete the evaluation and claim continuing education credits, please follow the steps below:

  • Log in to the ASTRO Academy with your ASTRO credentials.
    • Your email is the one you used to register for the course.
    • If you don't remember your password, click the Forgot Password? link.
  • In the Academy, select My Activities in the top navigation and then the Pending activities tab.
  • Click the 2025 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course Session Evaluation link under your Pending activities.
    • Once you have completed the evaluation, you can then access it from your Completed Activities tab.
  • Click the Take Course button to complete the evaluation and attest to the amount of credits for sessions you attended. The maximum credits you can claim are listed. Follow the rest of the instructions to receive your credits.
  • Once you complete the evaluation, you will be able to print your certificate and also view your credits in your ASTRO MOC transcript in the ASTRO Academy.

Please only claim credits for the sessions you attended.

Certificates of Credit

Continuing Medical Education (CME) certificates of credit are only available to participants who have completed the online evaluation tool. Participants will have online access to their certificate upon completion of the evaluation. Participants can access, print and save their certificate from the ASTRO Academy.

An application will be submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) for Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC).

Credit Statements

Physicians

The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Live Course: ASTRO designates this live course activity for a maximum of 22.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The Refresher onDemand, included with registration, also offers continuing medical education credits for physicians. ASTRO designates this enduring material activity for a maximum of 22.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credits commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Credit totals are subject to change with changes in the program.

Physicists

An application will be submitted to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP) for Medical Physics Continuing Education Credits (MPCEC).

Since our accreditation is important to us, we plan activities that are compliant with the ACCME and the content or format of CME activities and related materials will promote improvements or quality in health care and not a specific proprietary business interest or commercial bias. Program Committee members and speakers are required to disclose the existence of any financial or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) or any commercial product(s) or provider(s) of any commercial services discussed in an educational presentation.

Any conflicts of interest are resolved prior to participation. In addition to written disclosure, presenters will disclose any vested interest or their intention to discuss off-label use of pharmaceuticals or devices, if applicable, to the audience at the beginning of their presentation and in accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education standards and the Food and Drug Administration requirements.

In an effort to increase transparency and easy access to all disclosures, planner and presenter disclosure information will be available online for the 2025 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course. In addition to being available online, disclosure slides will be shown prior to presentations occurring.
