ASTRO welcomes caregivers and working parents along with their children to the Annual Meeting. We have compiled the following resources and information to assist with your family's plans.
If you are traveling with your children and are in need of child care during the day or evening, the following off-site child care providers are available for in-room babysitting. Please contact the provider directly to make your reservation.
This resource is provided solely as information for the convenience of ASTRO Annual Meeting attendees and is based on information made publicly available on the internet. ASTRO does not endorse or recommend any specific child care provider or individual person, including any listed herein. ASTRO has not conducted any inspection of the child care providers listed and does not guarantee nor warranty, either express or implied, the accuracy, completeness, suitability or reliability of any child care providers or information associated therewith. ASTRO expressly disclaims any and all responsibility for any current or future problems that may arise with regard to child care. All ASTRO Annual Meeting attendees are encouraged to exercise their own good judgment when evaluating a child care provider.
Because of the nature of the programs and forums, no one under the age of 18 will be admitted to any official ASTRO function without first being registered by their parent or guardian. Children and caregivers will need to be registered at the on-site registration counter at the Moscone Center. All attendees must adhere to the Annual Meeting Attendee Policies.
Strollers, baby carriers or similar devices are permitted in meeting rooms and the Exhibit Hall (during regular Exhibit Hall show hours only) as long as they do not block aisles or emergency exits. Parents/guardians who bring children into meeting sessions, the Poster Hall (during regular Poster Hall hours only) or Exhibit Hall, or any other meeting functions or areas are asked to help maintain a professional, disturbance-free environment. Children must be supervised at all times.
A Nursing Lounge will be available in Room 117 on the lobby level off of the North Lobby of the Moscone North building. The Nursing Lounge provides a dedicated space with two private nursing rooms and a refrigerator.
In addition to the Nursing Lounge, the Moscone Center has private nursing pods – Mamava Lactation Suites – which are located in Moscone South on the lower Mezzanine Level near Room 50.
To access these suites, please use the free Mamava app. Once occupied, the suites are lockable.
