Frequently Asked Questions

Access to the livestream event web page will be available one hour prior to the course beginning on April 17. You will need to log in to view the course using the ASTRO credentials you used to register for the course.

Information on how to access the course will be emailed to registrants and will be available on the 2024 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course website and in the ROhub community closer to the course date. You can also access the course from your MyASTRO page under Virtual/OnDemand Meetings.

If you have trouble logging in, please call 703-502-1550 and press 2 or email ASTRO eLearning.

• Disconnect from a VPN (Virtual Private Network).
• Check firewalls. If you are at a work institution, try another network like a mobile device or home network (some institutions have robust firewalls that will block some virtual features).
• Clear your web browser history and cache or try another browser.
• Check your internet connection. A minimum of 5 Mbps is required, but 15+ Mbps is recommended. You can check this at www.speedtest.net. 
• Close any other windows/tabs that may be using a lot of bandwidth.
• If you are at home, make sure you are not also using streaming services like Netflix, etc., that could impact your available bandwidth.
• Use a hard-wired internet connection, if possible.
• If you have to use Wi-Fi, make sure you are close to the Wi-Fi device.
• Completely log out and log back in.
• Please note that if you pause the livestream on your computer for more than 15 minutes, you will need to log out and log back in.

You can access the Q&A site for the course. Navigate to the current session and ask your question. You can also upvote questions submitted by other attendees.

You can add any of the optional Academy Add-on(s) to your registration when you register for the 2024 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course. If you already registered, please contact ASTRO eLearning via email. The deadline for the discounted price is April 19.

To claim credit, log in to the ASTRO Academy with the ASTRO credentials you used to register for the course, select My Activities in the top navigation and then the Pending activities tab. Under Pending activities, select 2024 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course Credit Evaluation, and follow the steps to complete the evaluation and claim your credits by the May 20, 2024 deadline.

Once you complete the evaluation on your ASTRO Academy account you can download a certificate of attendance.

Refresher onDemand will be available in the ASTRO Academy starting April 29, 2024, for registrants to access (included with registration) and for non-registrants to purchase. The onDemand recordings and corresponding CME credits will be available until April 28, 2026.

Log in to the ASTRO Academy with the ASTRO credentials you used to register for the course, select My Activities in the top navigation and then the Pending activities tab. Under Pending activities, select 2024 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course onDemand. Select the session you wish to view and then click the Take Course button to view the video and complete the evaluation. Once you have started viewing sessions, you will access the Refresher onDemand from your Completed Activities tab.

Log in to the ASTRO Academy with the ASTRO credentials you used to register for the course, select My Activities in the top navigation and then the Pending activities tab. Under Pending activities, select the course title(s), click the Take Course button and follow the navigation to complete the course.

The practice cases are available in the ASTRO Academy approximately two weeks before the start of the course. Log in with the ASTRO credentials you used to register for the course, select My Activities in the top navigation and then the Pending activities tab. Under Pending activities, select the eContouring session, click the Take Course button and follow the navigation to complete the practice case homework. Completion of the homework is not required to attend the session.

Yes, you will be able to purchase the Refresher onDemand starting on April 29, 2024, through the ASTRO Academy. The fees for Refresher onDemand are as follows:

• Member - $799
• Member-in-Training/Postdoctoral Fellow Member - $599
• Student/Graduate Student/PGY-1 Member - $549
• Nonmember - $1049
