| We are pleased to announce the 10 recipients of this year's Medical Student Fellowship (MSF) awards. The MSF award provides financial support to promising medical students who are from populations underrepresented in medicine to introduce them to the discipline of radiation oncology. Each awardee spends eight to 10 weeks during the summer recess studying clinical, basic and translational radiation oncology research questions and learning new techniques in the labs of ASTRO mentors. Additionally, awardees receive a travel stipend to attend the ASTRO Annual Meeting.
Mentors of awardees receive the ASTRO-BCRF Medical Student Fellowship: Mentor Award, which recognizes their dedication to supporting the education and training of early career physicians and scientists. For more, visit the ASTRO Medical Student Fellowship program site. |

| Help us spread the word! The application period for medical students to apply to the 2024 ASTRO-BCRF Radiation Oncology Visiting Away Rotations program is open now through June 5. The program provides financial support to talented medical students from communities that are historically marginalized and/or underrepresented in medicine to participate in four-week clinical or research rotations.
