ASTRO STILL NEEDS YOUR ASSISTANCE

ASTRO is still working on compiling a list of experts that utilize interstitial devices (e.g. fiducial markers, dosimeter) in conjunction with Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) and/or other types of radiation therapy. Please consider the following two questions:

1. Do you currently place interstitial devices (e.g. fiducial markers, dosimeter) when performing SBRT, IGRT and/or other types of radiation therapy?
2. Do you know someone in your institution or in your community that does utilize these devices in their practice?

If you are able to answer yes to one or both of these questions, please send an e-mail to Crystal Carter and provide the following information to assist ASTRO in identifying these physician experts:

  • Your name and/or the name of your colleague(s) that utilizes these devices;
  • The name of the facility that you and/or your colleague(s) practice;
  • The type of physician that places the devices (i.e. radiation oncologist, interventional radiologist, etc); and
  • Contact information (i.e. telephone number, e-mail address) for you and/or your colleague(s).

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
